IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

Welcome to BuySpares, this video will show you how to change the waveguide cover in your microwave.

All microwave ovens use a waveguide cover to shield the opening where the microwaves in the appliance enter the main cooking cavity. Over time, the cover can be softened by absorbing food splatters and moisture, as well as disintegrating or even burning.

If the cover is faulty in any way, it will present a danger while the microwave is in use.

This is a replacement waveguide cover sheet for your microwave oven. It is compatible with the majority of microwaves, and if your old waveguide cover is still relatively intact you can use it as a template to cut round.

Due to the small size of a waveguide cover, you may also be able to use this material to make more if needed in the future.
