All microwave ovens use a waveguide cover to shield the opening where the microwaves in the appliance enter the main cooking cavity. Over time, the cover can be softened by absorbing food splatters and moisture, as well as disintegrating or even burning.

If the cover is faulty in any way, it will present a danger while the microwave is in use.

This is a replacement waveguide cover sheet for your microwave oven. It is compatible with the majority of microwaves, and if your old waveguide cover is still relatively intact you can use it as a template to cut round.
