Welcome to BuySpares, in this video we're going to show you how to reverse the opening of a tumble dryer door.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

Many dryers allow this to enable easy loading directly from the washing machine.

To confirm your dryer will allow the door to open, check if there are covers matching lock, catch and hinge mountings before starting. Then remove and transfer the lock and matching cover to opposite sides.

Next remove the door for better access, and transfer the catch and cover.

Now fit the top right hinge to the bottom left position.

Finally lift the door onto the hinge and fit into place.
