Don't spend around £25 more for an own brand product! I was nervous about buying this cheaper option but I needn't have been. It has great suction and very impressive performance.

Although the item is eight inches wide the active proportion of the item is only about three inches wide and the rest of the item serves no purpose, indeed becomes awkward to use because of the narrow airway in the centre of the item. The brushes are too long to make the vacuum effective and the pad which is presumably supposed to gather pet hair is no wider than the airway. There are no glide wheels on this item which makes it double difficult to drag and push over a carpet. Takes ten times longer to clean floors and carpets with this item than it does with the proper Miele product, the Miele product having glide wheels and a full width pad.
