Video Transcript: How to Replace an Oven Fan Element (Gorenje)

In this video we will show you how to replace a fan element in a Gorenje built in oven.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

If your fan oven is not reaching the correct temperature it may mean that your fan oven element is faulty and you need to change the element.

To access the fan oven element it is easier for you to first remove the door and to do this open the door release, the hinge locking tabs, and slowly close and lift the door up and away.

Next unscrew the four screws that hold the inner fan oven element cover and remove it to reveal the elements behind. Once the front cover is off remove the back and top cover on the rear of the appliance.

Identify the connections to the fan oven element and disconnect them. Unscrew the two nuts and remove the washers that hold the element into place from the back.

You can then remove the fan oven element from the front, replace with the new element and reassemble in the reverse order.
