Welcome to BuySpares, in this video we will show you how to change a cooking regulator on an electric cooker.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS

Remove the hop top by undoing and lifting out these push in rivets.

As you lift off the top slide out the warning light to release the top.

Next pull off the control knob and release the faulty regulator by undoing the two screws.

Lift out the faulty regulator and transfer the wires one at a time to the same connectors on the new regulator.

Place the regulator into position and refit the screws before fitting the knob.

Finally fit the hob top back to the cooker refitting the warning light and refit the rivets before testing the appliance.
