Non Clutched Brushroll & Belt Kit

The brush roll bar is the part of a vacuum cleaner that contains rows of bristles that agitate the carpet, aiding in the removal of dirt.

If you're existing brushbar has worn bristles, it will not effectively clean your carpets. It's easy to tell when the bristles are worn out, as they feel soft instead of stiff and they may also have split ends. The bearings in the brush bar may be defective or may be clogged with hairs and carpet fibres, that’s why this is essential.

This kit comes with two drive belts that are key components of your vacuum cleaner. Their primary function is to turn the agitator brush bar, which is used to beat dirt and dust out of the carpets. Vacuum belts are made of rubber and they are stretched between the motor pulley, which powers the belt, and the brush bar/agitator.

Replacing the brush roll and drive belts can substantially improve the performance of your cleaner.

Please Note: Look for a control knob on the front right hand side of your Dyson vacuum. If your machine has a knob it is a clutched model. If your machine does not have a knob it is a non-clutched model.
