The refrigerator Fan Motor sits behind the freezer wall.

It works by drawing air across the evaporator coil and circulates it throughout the freezer and refrigerator compartments. When the refrigerator compressor kicks on, so does the evaporator fan.

If your refrigerator or freezer seems warm or the motor starts to rattle, then you may need to replace the Fan Motor to keep your refrigerator running properly.
