Rather than settling for a standard hose which can risk flood or leakage problems, use this Universal Aquastop Inlet Hose to avoid a compromise on safety.

In addition to a toughened outer plastic hose layer, this Aquastop hose uses a housing system at the end connection to the water tap and your appliance to identify a leak and isolate it using a solenoid valve system. The purpose of these features is to prevent unwanted water flow which could cause damage, and ensure that your appliance consistently receives water where and when it requires it.

If your dishwasher/washing machine isn't taking in water then the aqua-stop could be in effect, making this hose ideal for replacing a standard hose.
