    Welcome to BuySpares.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first disconnected from the mains.

If your machines drum does not turn and the belt is OK you may have faulty motor brushes.

After disconnecting the pipes, remove the back of the cabinet to locate the motor on the bottom of the drum.

Remove the drive belt, undo the bolts to release the motor, and carefully lower the machine onto its side on carpet or an old towel.

Remove the base panel if fitted, and remove the connections to the motor.

Pull off the mounting lugs to lift it out.

Remove the brushes and check their condition, replacing if required.

Refit the motor onto its mounting.

Refit the connections, and refit the base, then lift the machine upright.

Fit the back panel and reconnect the machine.
