    In this video we are showing you how to replace a dryer heating element on Hotpoint or Indesit washer dryer.

    Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first.

    Take the top panel of by removing these two screws. Remove the bracket, and cut the cable tie before sliding off the door seal from the heater tunnel.

    Take out the screws around the tunnels edge. Disconnect the wires from the heating element and part the heater tunnel, using a screwdriver if needed.

    Remove the old element and replace it if it’s faulty.

    Ensure the rubber gasket is in the correct position, before refitting the heater cover.

    Refit the door seal and the connectors to the heater. Finally refit the cover and run a test cycle.
