    Vacuum Cleaner Handle

Some Gtech sweepers can be used as a handheld, by using the lower handle and disconnecting the main handle and telescopic tube. This makes them ideal for cleaning hard to reach areas such as the stairs or the car.

However, it is possible that overtime or if it’s not used correctly, then the lower handle can snap off.

If the lower handle on your sweeper has become damaged, don't worry. The part you need to purchase is inexpensive, especially compared to purchasing a new sweeper.

Replacement lower handles are very easy to fit as they simply push in place; and below we explain the steps to replacing such a part.

    1. The lower handle fits to the main unit of the sweeper.

    2. When attaching the handle to the main unit ensure that the handle faces forward.

    3. The clips on the lower handle push into the hole in pivot joint. This will require a small amount of force.

    4. Check that the Gtech lower handle is securely in position and pivots freely.

    5. You can now attach the telescopic tube and main handle for floor cleaning or use with just the lower handle as a handheld.
