IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

If the door on your oven is not closing fully and heat is escaping from the top as a result it's likely that the hinges are worn and need replacing, and this video will show you how to change them.

Open the door and flip up the catches on each hinge. Slowly close the door and lift it free as the catches hold the hinges open. Place the door on a soft mat or blanket and remove the screws from the bottom edge of the door.

Remove the inner door glass and the two screws behind to release the handle and remove it. You can now separates the two halves of the door and access the hinges. Unscrew and remove each hinge from the inner door and replace with new ones. Make sure the hinges are fitted correctly if they are specific to left and right.

Reassemble the two halves of the door, by screwing the handle in place to keep them together. Refit the inner glass if previously removed. Attach the door to the oven and close the catches on the hinges.
