    How to Replace a Tumble Dryer NTC (Beko)

    Welcome to BuySpares. In this video we will show how to replace drive belts and pulley on a Beko tumble dryer.

    Important: Before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that it is first unplugged from the mains.

    If your dryer is heating and you can hear the motor running but the drum is not turning you are likely to have a broken belt.

    Remove the top cover.

    Then both side panels.

    And the heater cover.

    Then the heater fan.

    Release the belt if still fitted by using a screwdriver to carefully lever up the motor.

    Remove the container, and unscrew the control panel.Unscrew the control panel top bracket.

    Disconnect the drawer hoses from the pump, and remove the drawer housing.

    Disconnect the electric wires from the mains filter, and the heater plugs.

    Before releasing the loom and cover from the rear panel.

    Remove the screw from the top rail and the four from the back panel as it attaches to the base.

    Lift the drum and back panel out by tilting the back up to clear the base.

    Disconnect the motor wires and remove the clamps then lift the motor out.

    Remove the small belt and replace the pulley.

    Refit the new pulley, belt and circlip.Lower the motor into the machine and reconnect the wiring.

    Refit the clamps and the tension spring and fan cover.

    Lift the drum in by tilting the front down into position and pushing the back into place.

    Then refit the back screws.

    Refit the fan, refit the drawer housing.

    Refit the wiring cover and connect the mains filter and heater.

    Refit this bracket, and front panel.Refit the belt.Refit the heater cover.

    Then refit the remaining panels.

    Finally run a test cycle to check the appliance.
