    If your tumble dryer is running as normal but does not produce any heat or is taking a long time to dry clothes it may have a faulty heater. This is how to replace it.

    Welcome to BuySpares, in this video we will show you how to replace a heater in a Hoover tumble dryer.

    Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

    If your machine is not drying your clothes you may have a faulty heater and need to replace it.

    Remove the cabinet top, and the control panel.

    Next remove the door seal, and the door.

    Now remove the lower front cover and the front panel.

    Now remove the fan cover, the fan ring, the fan and the fan cover, and release this cable clip.

    Then remove the heater cover.

    Remove the old heater and fit the new in position.

    Carefully draw the connectors through the hole one at a time and transfer them to the new heater.

    Fit the cable and grommet into position.

    Reach in from the front and fit the cable clip to the back panel to secure the wires, and refit the heater cover.

    Refit the fan cover, fan, fan ring, fan grill and front panel, then refit the door, and control panel.

    Fit the top panel before testing the appliance.
