The Spool for your grass trimmer is where the cutting line is housed.

Your grass trimmer uses a line to slice through grass and weeds. The line is wound around this replacement Spool that is on the underside of the trimmer.

This replacement Spool rotates about 6,000 times a minute and over time, bits of the line wear down until there is none left. It's time to either replace the entire spool or buy new line to wind around the old spool.
