    Welcome to BuySpares.

In this video we will show you how to replace a heater in a Gorenje washing machine.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first disconnected from the mains.

If your machine washes continuously and does not heat the water, even on a boil wash, it is likely to have a faulty heater. Remove the back of the cabinet to locate the heating element at the bottom of the drum.

Remove the drive belt for easier access; take a photo of the connections if required for reference before removing them.

Undo the bolt in the centre of the heater and push the bolt in to release the clamp, draw out the element.

Refit the new heater, tightening up the bolt to hold it in place, refit the heater connections, and the drive belt.

Fit the back panel and reconnect the machine.
