Although not a genuine VAX manufactured product, the product fits well onto the vacuum unit and functions well with all vacuum attachments only. This hose assembly does not incorporate mouldings into the handle assembley to accept the connection of the flow control handle for carpet washing solutions to be fed into the cleaning heads when the unit is used for its original design, however, the original genuine VAX handle assemble can be jammed onto the end of this unit's handle assembly to allow the original handle connections to be used, all be it awkwardly.
