The purpose of the H13 Hepa Filter is to collect the dust that passes through the suction nozzle from the carpet or floor, helping prevent dust from being spread around the room.

A High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter helps prevent asthma and other problems you may experience with allergies while vacuuming. The filter is a micrometer filter that is equipped to pull in soot, pollen and most dust particles. A lot of dirt, dust, debris, pet hairs and tiny particles are lifted off your surfaces when using your vacuum cleaner, and the last thing you need is the same particles exhausted back into the airstream.

To ensure the performance of your cleaner, we recommend that you wash this HEPA filter each time the dust container is emptied. Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled.
