How to use a vacuum floor tool

If your vacuum hose, head, tube or other detachable part becomes broken, never fear! You can buy replacement floor tools to fit your vacuum, or universal vacuum parts which are adjustable to fit different makes and models. This video demonstrates the different types of vacuum floor tool available.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS

All of these tools are available on the BuySpares website in the floorcare section.

Make sure you unplug the appliance from the mains before beginning the repair.

If you're not sure what size your vacuum tool is, you just need to measure the diameter from the out edges.

You can see this one is a 35mm.

The adjustable tool can be altered to fit different size vacuum tubes just by unscrewing it to loosen it up.

Pop the tube in and tighten it back up until it is nice and snug.

This tool can be made to fit either tube.
