IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

After emptying the fridge and disconnecting it from the mains, it's best to lay the fridge on its back so you can get to the screws underneath.

Using the appropriate screwdriver for your fridge, remove the screws from both sides, and put them aside to be replaced later on the opposite sides.

Carefully remove the fridge door completely.

Remove the screw which will now be protruding from the top of the fridge and re-fit it on the opposite corner.

For the top of the door, remove the anchor from one side, and the plug from the other side. These should lever out quite easily. Refit them so they are now on the opposite sides.

Replace the door, so that the screw protruding from the top of the fridge should now fit into the anchor. You can now replace the two screws from the underneath the fridge into the opposite sides that they were in originally.

The fridge door should now open from the opposite side.

Once the fridge is returned to its upright position, allow it to stand for at least 24 hours before plugging it back in to avoid causing serious damage.

To prevent seal gaps warm it up with a hair dryer and gently stretch the seal, this will set into its new position when closed and left to cool.
