IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS
If your side brush stops rotating you will need to replace the side brush module. Make sure you unplug the appliance from the mains before beginning the repair.
In order to replace the module you need to unscrew the first 4 screws and then remove the screw that's attached to the side brush.
You should now be able to lift the base off.
Once the base has been removed, you should now be able to see the 5 modules. These are the side brush, left wheel, right wheel, vacuum bin and cleaning head module.
If your side brush has stopped rotating you will need to replace the side brush module this can be easily done by removing the 2 holding screws.
This can then be replaced with a new module and the side brush should function as normal.
