IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS

Lawnmowers with metal blades will usually use a blade bolt to keep the blades in place. This will need to be removed using a spanner to access the blade. Gloves are a must when handling metal blades.

Replacing Metal Lawnmower Blades

  1. Safety first. Make sure your lawnmower is unplugged from the power supply.
  2. Identify what type of blade your lawnmower uses. Remember to wear protective gloves when handling blades.
  3. Loosen and remove the blade bolt.
  4. Remove the old/faulty blade and unpack the replacement ready to fit.
  5. Fit the new blade on top of the cutting height spaces and secure in place with the blade bolt.
  6. Tighten the blade bolt, check and test.
