IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

If you can hear the fan working but your oven is not heating up, the problem will probably be with the fan element.

To access the element you'll need to remove the inside back panel of the oven. You can do this by removing the screws from each corner of the panel.

You can now remove the back panel to expose the element.

The element is fixed on by two screws on one side and one on the other side. Remove these and you should be able to pull the element out and see the wires attaching it to the oven.

To disconnect the wires, grasp the silver connectors and gently slide them out. If they don't disconnect easily, there may be a tab on the connector that needs to be depressed first.

To prevent the wires slipping through the back when the element is disconnected attach clothes pegs to the wires
