After a period of time and use, the door seal on your oven will become worn and may start to come away, allowing heat to escape when the oven is in use. In this video we show you how to remove and replace the door seal on an oven.
What you'll need: Replacement Door Seal
IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS
Open the oven door fully, and ease out the clips from their positions around the inside front of the oven, until the seal has completely come away.
Position the new seal with the join at the bottom centre of the oven and push the clips into the holes all the way around.
The oven is now ready to be plugged in and used.
Please bear in mind that the method of removing a door seal may vary according to your brand of oven.
