Video Transcript: How to Replace the Cutting Blades on a Flymo
IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.
Many hover mowers are fitted with interchangeable plastic blades, these are usually straight forward to change but you should always consult the manufacturer's manual where possible.
Replacing Lawnmower Blades:
1: Identify what type of blade your lawnmower uses. Remember to wear protective gloves when handling blades.
2: Grip the flat of the blade firmly using your thumb and first finger.
3: Push the blade inwards and up out of the holding to remove.
4: Slot the replacement blade in place and clip into position.
