    Welcome to BuySpares.

In this video we will show you how to replace a heater in a Beko washing machine.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

If your machine washes continually, does not heat the water or if the house electrics cut out shortly after starting the washing machine, you may have a faulty heater.

To replace the heater take out the screws holding the back panel and lift it off. Take a photo of the connections on the heater before disconnecting them.

Undo the nut on the heater clamp and loosen fully before pushing the bolt into the tub to release it. Carefully withdrawal the heater, if the rubber seal is stuck use a flat bladed screwdriver to release it. Lubricate the new heater seal with washing up liquid before reassembling in the reverse order, taking care to fit the heater through its bracket in the tub.

Once you have replaced all the panels check that the heater was fitted correctly by running a test cycle to check for leaks before you start using the machine.
