    Welcome to BuySpares.

In this video we will show you how to replace a door handle on a Beko washing machine.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first disconnected from the mains.

If you cannot open the door and the door handle feels loose you may have a faulty handle and need to replace it. To replace the door handle take out the screws holding the top panel and lift it off.

Open the filter cover and unscrew and remove the kick plate. Remove the three screws under the front panel and push it down to disconnect and carefully lift away from the cabinet. Unhook the door catch by using a small screwdriver.

Next unscrew the door hinge to release the door completely. Separate the three door parts by undoing all screws. Separate the door halves to reveal the door mechanism spring handle and pin - take a reference photo.

Pull the pin out from the handle to release the handle and spring, replace with the new handled replacing the spring and door pin. Reassemble the door and then reattach to the machine refitting the main panel and screws back onto the appliance. Finally reattach the kick plate.

Check the door is fitted correctly by running a rinse cycle to check for leaks before you start using the machine.
