Video Transcript: How to Remove Transit Bolts from a Washing Machine

    Welcome to BuySpares.

This video will show you how to remove the transit brackets in a washing machine.

IMPORTANT: Before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

Transit brackets are what keep the drum in place when your washing machine is being delivered to your house. Once it's installed you can take them out.

The transit brackets are here at the back of the washing machine. When you first receive your washing machine you should be provided with a spanner that you can use to undo and remove them.

Don't forget to keep them in a safe place in case you need to move the washing machine when you move house.

Place the transit bolts and fittings into a plastic bag and attatch to the back, ensuring they are available when moving home.
