IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

For this process you'll need an old toothbrush or a similar small brush with a handle.

To remove the soap drawer, pull it out gently as far as possible, and wiggle until it slides out completely. If there is a button on the drawer, pressing this will release the drawer.

Remove the siphon cap and clean this, as well as the drawer itself.

You can check the siphon's operation by filling it slowly with water.

Don't forget to clean the ceiling of the drawer too, as powder can build up here.

To replace the drawer, slide it back in until it is fully in place.

Note: The black mould that grows in the dispenser will often block the spray jets above; this can cause leaking from the front and stop the conditioner being dispensed. Using a long "dish washing brush" and an anti bacterial spray scrub and remove this mould.
