Welcome to BuySpares. In this video we'll be showing you how to fix an E11 fault on a Hoover washer dryer.

Important: Before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first disconnected from the mains.

If you have a E11 fault on a Hoover washer dryer it is indicating a problem with the dryer thermostat.

Remove these screws to the cabinet top.

Slide the lid back slightly and lift it off.

Remove the thermistor connector by pressing the tab then remove the two fixing screws and lift off.

Replace the thermistor and refit the connector.

On many machines the E11 error occurs as one or more of these connecting wires break, this may be due to excess movement from unbalanced loads.

To prevent this when washing any heavy items ensure there are enough heavy items to spread around the drum to help the machine balance its load.

To repair the wires, trim the ends and reconnect them before insulating.

Then make sure the wire can move freely without being pulled tight if the drum moves.
