    Welcome to Buyspares. This video will show you how to fix a tumble dryer thats not heating up.

    Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

    If your tumble dryer is not producing heat and is just blowing cold it may be due to a faulty heater element.

    This video will will show you how to identify and replace a faulty heater element.

    To access this the back panel need to be removed.

    Be careful when handling these panels as their edges can be very sharp.

    With the back panel removed the element is now visible.

    To remove he element disconnect this plug, and remove any cable tie's.

    Before sliding the element away from the appliance.

    It's important to fit the replacement exactly as the original so its advisable to take photos or make notes for all of the connection to help you with fitting the parts.

    With the new component fitted the dryers panels just need to be reattached to the appliance.
