    Welcome to BuySpares.

In this video we will show you how to resolve dispenser problems on a Beko washing machine.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first unplugged from the mains.

There are a couple a common faults with the detergent dispenser on a washing machine. If when adding conditioner there's already water in the compartment then top up with water to start the siphon to empty the compartment and then add the conditioner.

If the water does not flow away check, for build-up or a blockage in the siphon tube. If this is okay check for mould in the spray jets above and clean if necessary if you are unable to clear the mould you may need to replace the dispenser as this will stop water entering the compartment and cause this fault.

To replace the dispenser top, take out the screws holding the top panel and lift it off. Take out the soap drawer and remove the screw to the front panel unclip and lift the front panel out of the way before removing this screw.

Photograph the hoses before removing them from the top and disconnect the hose to the tub before lifting the dispenser out. Remove the top by undoing these clips and refit the base onto the new top and simply reassemble in the reverse order. Once you have replaced all the panels check that the dispenser is fitted correctly by running a rinse cycle to check for leaks before you start using the machines.
