It is recommended that your water filter canisters be replaced regularly in order to keep your drinking water as clean and pure as possible (refer to manufacturer's instructions for more specific time scales). In this video we show you how to change the water filter canisters in a fridge freezer.

IMPORTANT: ENSURE THAT THE WATER SUPPLY IS SWITCHED OFF BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE FILTER CANISTERS FROM THEIR WATER PIPES.

Some canisters have a push-on attachment, which you'll need to hold in, in order to release it from the pipe. Insert the pipe into the nozzle of the new canister, and check that it's held securely in place.

Some canisters have a screw-on attachment, which will need to be unscrewed in order to release it from the pipe. The new canister should then just screw onto the pipe.

Before starting to use the new water canisters, you should first run some water through the pipes to clear out any dust.
