Welcome to BuySpares, In this video we'll be showing you how to replace freezer drawers and drawer fronts.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT IT IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

Most domestic freezer or fridge freezer drawers are generally made of plastic.

This often becomes brittle when cold and is easily cracked.

Often the drawers are supplied in two parts the front and the draw body.

It can be difficult to part these without damaging it further.

The best way to replace these baskets when clicked together.

Is to remove the old basket and examine it carefully.

There are usually clips that locate and lock the front in place.

When trying to release these ensure the plastic is warm as this softens it and makes it less likely to crack.

Starting at the bottom edge push carefully between the locating pegs and the front.

Using a flat blade or even an old credit card to help the clip part.

Carefully work along the edge from one side to the other opening the join until it lifts away from the bottom and unhooks from the top of the side pieces.

Hook the top clips into the front and hinge the flap down pushing over the pegs and into position.
