How to replace a dishwasher drain hose.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPLACING A PART IN ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS.

If the drain hose is damaged and leaking, or needs replacing with a longer one here's how to fix it.

Disconnect the machine and drain the sump with a sponge.

Remove the base fixing screws, and move it out to disconnect the hose from the pump.

Remove these screws and loosen the side panel if required before removing the top metal bracket and lifting out the hose.

Fit the hose on the pump.

Fit the hose end into the base and refit the metal bracket, and then replace the base panel. Lift the appliance upright and reconnect it.
