I have had this Hotpoint Wash m/c 8 years it is used most days over the last 2 years & not wanting to call an engineer I had many problems with the m/c not completing washes stopping with full load of water etc. i fitted drain pump in 5 mins no problem m/c now runs as a new model.(touch wood)

i struggled to get plastic hose clips off until i realised you push them sideways. Perhaps a diagram showing how this is done may help.
