A direct replacement for the original motor. Performs as well - if not better - than when bought new ! A little tricky to fit but i did it.

The vacuum cleaner is a bit awkward to dismantle (it requires a long Torx screwdriver) and there are no instructions but you get used to it. As expected of Dyson, the motor is good quality but why don't they use a motor with replaceable brushes?

The Dyson motor is a bit tricky to install because the the clutch rubber band needs to be streched over the motor axel and the fit is tight but with a bit of patience it slips into place.
