This brushbar and soleplate kit is ideal for a do-it-yourself repair but please be aware that this is the clutchless version only and is not suitable for use on models with a brush control pedal.

Nothing wrong with the supplier. My only beef is with 'Dyson'. It insults my intelligence when a manufacturer decides to add another part [unwanted] to the part you want, just to make more cash. I simply wanted a new brush roller for my cleaner but they now don't sell it without a sole plate. 'SCAM' A brush should sell for no more than £8 but you have to pay more than double that because of the added sole plate. If you buy direct from DYSON you pay more than three times the price.

This was the first replacement beater bar I found under Dyson 04 model. The picture shown was the silver/yellow model I have so I assumed it was the correct part. Dyson use the colours to differentiate types within a model number so I natyrally assumed it was the correct part. It was disappointing to have to send it back, not get a full refund then have to wait for another (correct) part. Colour coding on the parts would help.

I used to have to go round with the vacuum hose picking up larger bits from the floor. I only bought this product because I broke the old one, but now my Dyson is working almost as new. I would have replaced this part before if I had known how much difference it would make.

I could not find these products locally and after searching "Big Name" sites this had exactly what I needed and at a very competatve price.Don't take my word for it look for yourself.
