Fan Oven element expired and I was quoted between £130 to £160 for the repair. Was advised to try it myself (by a very nice Curry's repair man) and had the job done in less than 30 mins all for less than £35 and with a massive sense of achievement :)

Bought for DeLonghi DTC90E. Went for Original part - exact match. Only minor issue was that element was screwed from back so had to have oven out and remove back plate. This turned out to be very straight forward. Just hope this element last longer than the 13 months of the original.

I have a Deloghi cooker. One screw was at the front-easy. The two other screws were at the back and difficult to locate. Back has to come off!
What should be a five minute job then becomes 30 minutes or more. Why not slightly longer screws at the front?
