Fimsy plastic, even flimsier than the previous model which cracked very quickly. Unfortunatly there doesn't seem to be any alternative and it really is an essential product for regular use of the mixer

Packaging was sublime. The order arrived within two weeks (Australia), again very good. Ordered product fits perfectly and does it's job as it should. In fact, it saved the kitchen of being floured already!

Although the appearance of this guard differed from our original(which had a chute for adding ingredients and was closed with a 'measuring jug')it fitted perfectly and improved the overall appearance of our reliable but ageing Chef.
