    Welcome to BuySpares.

In this video we're going to show you how to replace a faulty fan motor on an Indesit or Hotpoint washer dryer.

Important: before replacing a part in any electrical appliance, you must ensure that the appliance is first disconnected from the mains.

Take the top panel off by removing these two screws, remove the bracket.

Cut the cable tie before sliding off the door seal from the heater tunnel, take out the screws around the tunnels edge. Open the heater tunnel using a screwdriver and remove the fan.

Remove the motor connectors and mounting screws, lift out the motor and replace it if required. Fit the new motor and ensure the rubber gasket is in the correct position before fitting the heater cover.

Refit the connectors and the door seal to the heater.

Finally refit the cover and test as required.
